3:15 p.m. USDA Inspected Meat Lab /Cattle and Carcass Training Center Animal Science Department Dr. Jordan Wicks, Extension Meats Specialist—Dr. Wicks’ extension program focuses on providing workforce development opportunities for those looking to enter into the meat processing industry, as well as provide science-based solutions to current challenges of the meat industry.

4:00 p.m. Walk to Dinsdale Family Learning Commons

4:15 p.m. Engler Agribusiness Entrepreneurship Program Welcome and Tour of Dinsdale Family Learning Commons Dr. Tom Field, Program Director—Dr. Field and the Engler team lead this experiential, community-based learning to help students build their own enterprise from the ground up. Program founder Mr. Paul Engler believed that young people can create a positive, lasting impact on this state and the world.

5:00 p.m. Walk to Nebraska East Union for dinner
